Artist based on the Gold Coast Australia. Spencer was formerly trained at Bournemouth College of Art + Design in the UK, graduating with a degree in design, specialising in Natural History Illustration. He has exhibited regularly since his first exhibition at the Mall galleries London in 1995.
After working as a commercial artist for nearly twenty years he took a break in 2012 and was re-acquainted with his muse Mother Nature while working in far west Queensland, The Cooper desert and Arcadia Valley, he consequently decided to focus solely on his art practice in 2015.
